But wait - there's more.
When you're in Year 3 at our school you can also join the African Drumming Troupe if you want. Of course that was right up Emma's alley so we now have one of these at home too...
Oh yes - let me tell you we are popular with the neighbours!
Everyone loves the drum:

Oh how fabulous!! I would so join the African Drumming Troop too!!!!
Bongo drums are the shizzle!
I love the drums - with my hearing aid off.
Oh, I'm not showing my sons this. They have been wanting to do Trumpet!
x
Shouldn't there be some law against sending home a trumpet AND a drum with the same child? Some kind of UN convention on the rights of the parents? My daughter is about to bring home a recorder. Save us!
We brought a little drum kit for our kids for christmas and sadly the 2 year old has quite the talent for it!! It does look like fun though!!
She sure does love that drum - something we won't be getting around here - my boys make enough noise with my pots and pans :) Emily
African Drumming! I obviously went to the wrong school. Hope she isn't hurting your ears.
All I can do is laugh!
what fun drumming is. Great post
Oh you lucky mama! x
Oh but drumming is just SO fun!
I'd buy one of my own to join in! :)
It's amazing what they do at schools these days! (And that comment makes me sound really old!)
It's a great looking drum.
